This trick was taught by a friend, and I think I should share it here...
I've tried this method at Petronas and Shell, and it all worked. But all these are via using Credit Card at the petrol pump only ok... never tried using credit card at the casher or cash payment...
here goes...
1. of course, you have to swipe your credit card at the pump credit card machine. then when approved, proceed to pump petrol like how you normally do lah....
ok... now here comes the fun part:
pump until when you release the trigger, for example at RM45.56.
2. then, you can either put back the nozzle into the fuel pump, or use your finger to push that metal thingy at the nozzle stand to fake the impression that the nozzle has been put back into place.
3. the receipt will be printed out shortly right? take the receipt. If you put the nozzle back into place, take it out again and put it back into the fueling inlet of your car. If you use your finger to press that thingy in the nozzle stand, then just release it...
4. press the trigger of the nozzle again... there will still be pressure, and you will be able to pump all the remaining petrol trapped in the fuel hose into your car until all the pressure is gone. since the fuel hose is quite long, it is estimated that there is still around 1 - 2 litres worth of petrol....
**Note: The easier method is to just put back the nozzle into place while waiting for the receipt to be printed if you have a hard time locating where you should press...
mission accomplished...
hope this trick would help all Vios brothers to get more fuel from the petrol station pump in this kindda weak economic situation.
cheers and happy trying this out!!
